The Punjab Police has reportedly launched a replacement app which will allow the residents of the province to see criminal records of their tenants, domestic and employees with a couple of taps on their mobile screen. All they’ll got to do is download the newly launched ‘KaroBar Aitemad App’ to their smart phones, enter the computerized national card (CNIC) number of the individual whose record they need to trace, then search their details.
This app won’t only allow employers and landlords to form a well-informed decision about the persons they need to rent or hire out their home to but also will ensure their safety. As per the reports published in media outlets, whether a private features a record or features a case or inquiry pending against them in any city across the province, the Punjab Police app are going to be ready to check criminal records online and identify them.
Once the knowledge is processed, the citizens will receive an SMS with details about the record . The authorities also will follow it up with necessary action.
TENANT AND EMPLOYEE REGISTRATION
The law requires residents to register their tenants, domestic , and employees with the police in order that the enforcement agencies have information about all the individuals living and dealing within the neighborhood.
Presently, the citizens need to complete the registration process face to face through the Punjab Police Khidmat Markaz, where they’re required to submit the CNIC photocopies of both parties, photographs of the one that is being registered, and an affidavit among other documents.
Though the present process is already pretty straightforward, the Punjab Police has made it even more convenient and hassle-free through the KaroBar Aitemad App. along side completing a record check by CNIC, the app also will enable employers and homeowners to register their workers and tenants with the police.
Speaking to the media, DIG Operations Punjab Suhail Sukhera, who also is the Punjab Police Information Officer (PPIO), said the KaroBar Aitemad app rapidly displays the knowledge about one’s criminal records using their CNIC number. He further added that the Punjab Police app will soon be available for download on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. However, until then, the citizens are going to be ready to download it from the Punjab Police official website.
